Tool Box 6

In session 6 we had to create a customer profile of our chosen customer.

Walking into class I was not in the best headspace. Not only did I not get sleep the night before but I also had a fight with my best friend. However, I’ve always found the class to be a place I can focus on other things and really divulge into my work. On the brighter side for me, the class was a business class which I have a keen interest in and sure enough, the class uplifted my mood.

By the time the presentation started, I had already forgotten about all my worries and started working towards choosing between a couple bags. My group table and I chose the Dior bag. We all agreed on making a customer profile by trying to think like the customer. We dint quite agree on all the points within it. I thought the customer would be in the mid-20s- to early 30s and probably someone who shops in person and comes from a rich family, however, there were variating views on this. We then went on to work on our customer profiles. I narrowed it down to two very different looks, one was very playful and from Shoreditch and the other girl was from my south Kensington visit.

I did my entire customer profile first on word and wrote down all the points. I then started my work in illustrator and finished the rest at home.

Though this was a stressful class, it ended in a very fun way when I went up to my teacher telling her I wanted to do business. She gave me a warm welcome. We also joked together about how we would make money in the business of the fashion industry and that was such a highlight of the day as it made me feel like a part of something and gave it a friendly touch, which I needed specifically that day.
